Robert Malone is the president of RJ Custom Builders. Rob has over 35 years of experience in the greater Atlanta residential construction industry.
Rob started in the middle 1980s working as a finish and trim carpenter with a high school friend. He was fortunate to work for three high end builders in the north Atlanta area who had a great eye for detail and design.
During the 1990's, Rob worked as a superintendent for 2 custom home builders. From 1990 to 1996, Rob worked for Magnolia Development. He managed the construction of more than 75 homes during that time period.
In 1996, Rob went to work for a custom home builder named Tony Balsamo with AJ Custom Homes. Tony was a true custom home builder who placed an emphasis on distinct craftsmanship and landmark homes. Tony was passionate about his homes, as well as his homeowners.
In 2003, Rob and Tony partnered to form RJ Custom Homes Inc. Along with several other projects, RJ Custom Homes built exceptional custom homes in The Manor Golf & Country Club and the Ardsley Park neighborhood of the Winward development.
After the passing of Tony, Rob went on to restructure as RJ Custom Builders. Rob continues to build homes in The Manor, as well as several other custom homes in the North Atlanta area. He has completed several major renovations and finishing of basements as well.
Today, RJ Custom Builders continues to build a limited number of custom homes, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a personal relationship with all of our homeowners.
